The Edge of the Pacific | A Maternity Session at Sutro Baths
Some places feel made for photographs, and Sutro Baths is one of them.
The ruins of San Francisco's historic oceanside bathhouse sit right at the edge of the Pacific — crumbling stone walls, tidal pools catching the last light, waves crashing against the rocks just beyond. It's dramatic, romantic, and a little wild, making it the perfect backdrop for Keshiia and Kevin's maternity session.
We shot at golden hour, and the light did exactly what you hope it will — warm and low, wrapping everything in that particular softness that makes moments feel timeless. Keshiia was radiant. Kevin couldn't stop smiling at her. The ocean did its thing in the background and honestly just showed off the whole time.
Some sessions, you have to work for. This one just was. The connection between these two was effortless, the location was doing the heavy lifting aesthetically, and all I had to do was stay out of the way and let it unfold.
