Bubble Exit & Navy Blues | Chelsi & Codey's Still Water Hollow Wedding
Chelsi and Codey got married at Still Water Hollow in Boise, Idaho on one of those perfect fall days where the light does everything for you and all you have to do is show up.
Codey wore his Navy dress blues. Chelsi wore a white strapless ballgown with a red ribbon corset back — and before the day even started, she told me the one shot she absolutely had to have. All three wedding rings woven into the ribbon lacing down her back. It was the image she'd been thinking about, and when we got it, it delivered. Every single time I look at it I think about how it was entirely her idea, already perfectly formed before I ever raised my camera. That's the best kind of detail shot — the one the bride shows up already knowing she wants.
Still Water Hollow's 1899 chapel is simply one of the most beautiful ceremony settings in the Pacific Northwest. Wide blue sky, pine trees, a steeple that earns its place in every photo. Their first look happened in the covered wood structure on the property, and gave me portraits I won't stop thinking about for a long time.
The ceremony was quiet and full. The reception was the opposite — loud and joyful and completely alive, anchored by a flower girl who treated the dance floor like her personal stage. The bubble exit at golden hour wrapped it all up perfectly.
These two have navigated a lot to get here. It showed — in the best way — in every single photograph.

Working with Leah was such a great experience! Planning a wedding can be stressful enough, but Leah made it so easy. I contacted her about photography, and she got back to me very quickly. She was very reasonably priced and took the type of pictures that I wanted. On the day of, she was very professional and took all of the pictures that we wanted. We made a list of pictures that we wanted, and she made sure she got them. They took a ton of pictures during our reception, which is perfect. I also got my pictures back really fast, with printing rights. I would HIGHLY recommend Leah Flores Photography for any occasion. A year and a half later, and I'm still obsessed with my wedding photos!
