Gray Gables is one of those venues that does the work for you. Tucked in Southeast Portland, the estate grounds are lush and tree-lined, with a classic white outdoor ceremony space framed by columns and draped curtains that manages to feel both grand and intimate at the same time. It's the kind of place that looks like it was built specifically for moments like this one.
Kabbiba was breathtaking. A fitted lace gown with a beaded belt, lace-edged cathedral veil, a statement crystal necklace, and a delicate floral headpiece that sat across her forehead like a crown — she walked out, and the whole energy of the day shifted. Her bouquet was soft and lush, blush and lavender blooms with dusty miller trailing through, and it matched the palette of the entire event perfectly. Flanked by bridesmaids in flowing lavender gowns and groomsmen sharp in black tuxedos with white bow ties, this wedding party meant business.
The ceremony took place under the white draped pavilion with tall floral arrangements on either side — white roses and purple blooms overflowing from the pedestals as Corwin and Kabbiba faced each other and made it official. The reception moved inside to the ballroom, dressed floor to ceiling in lavender and white — tall rose-ball centerpieces on mirrored bases, lavender chair sashes tied in perfect bows, and a three-tiered cake hand-painted in periwinkle scrollwork with rhinestone ribbon trim and a personalized acrylic topper that read Corwin & Kabbiba.
And then the dancing started. The floor filled up fast and didn't empty for the rest of the night — kids twirling in pastel dresses, family forming circles, the groom still grinning that same grin from the moment he first saw his bride. The joy in that room was the kind that fills a camera frame without you even trying.
