An Intimate Wedding at Salish Lodge & Spa | Snoqualmie Falls, Washington

Some connections start in the most unexpected places. I met Rachel and Andrew at a destination wedding in Vietnam, and somewhere between the adventure and the board games we played together, we became real friends. When they started planning their own wedding back home in the Pacific Northwest, they asked me to be there. I was honored.

They knew exactly what they wanted — no grand production, just the people who mattered most in a setting that meant something. They found it at Salish Lodge & Spa at the top of Snoqualmie Falls.

The Hidden Terrace is something genuinely special. An open-air space perched right next to one of the most iconic waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest, intimate by design, with the roar and mist of Snoqualmie Falls filling the air around you. You don't just see the falls from there — you feel them. It's one of those settings that does the emotional heavy lifting before a single word is spoken.

Rachel's lace gown with long sleeves was stunning — intricate, romantic, completely right for a misty Pacific Northwest terrace. And it had pockets. Real ones. She made excellent choices across the board.

The ceremony was quiet and full — a small circle of loved ones, the falls as the backdrop, two people who found each other and knew what they had. After the vows, everyone stayed on the terrace for a beautiful dinner, the lodge doing what it does best, the falls still roaring just beyond the windows.

Rachel and Andrew — from Vietnam board games to Snoqualmie Falls, it has been such a joy. Here's to a lifetime of adventures and rematches.

Real Review:

We met Leah at a wedding in Vietnam, became fast friends, and were absolutely blown away by her photography. We immediately booked her for our joint bachelor/ette weekend and wedding ceremony. She not only captured everything perfectly (including catching the cutest candids) but helped us have fun and feel comfortable in front of the camera even when things were otherwise a little stressful. She is a 10/10 photographer and human. Book her now! You won’t regret it and you’ll have the most perfect pictures.
