Hi, come in. This is where I share the full stories behind the sessions, and if you read enough of them, you'll start to notice something: a lot of the same names keep showing up. Engagements turn into weddings turn into maternity sessions turn into family photos with three kids and a dog. After fifteen years of this work, my favorite thing is that I rarely get to say goodbye to anyone. I just get to see them again in a new chapter. These are those chapters.

A Destination Wedding in Vietnam Coming Home | Ho Chi Minh City
Linh didn't just choose a destination for her wedding — she brought the people she loves most into the world that made her. A traditional Vietnamese morning ceremony in a stunning red dress, a sophisticated evening wedding on the Ho Chi Minh City riverfront, and two cultures woven together with intention and love. This one was something else entirely.
Michael & Svetlana | Duniway Hotel & Hoyt Arboretum Microwedding | Portland Elopement Photographer
A silver sequin gown. A rain-soaked wooden deck in the redwoods of Hoyt Arboretum. Mini champagne bottles clinked among family and friends. And then Cathedral Park, where the Gothic arches of the St. Johns Bridge — Portland's only steel suspension bridge — made the most extraordinary backdrop I could have asked for. Michael and Svetlana's elopement was exactly the kind of day that reminds me why I love this city.
A Snowy Cabin Wedding in Cascade, Idaho | Justin & Brianna
Justin and Brianna got married on a snow-covered cabin porch in Cascade, Idaho, surrounded by snow-heavy pines, their closest family, and their border collie — who served as ring bearer and took the job very seriously. The ceremony was intimate and full of laughter, the bouquet was simple and perfect, and afterward they posed between two snowmobiles with a Just Married banner in the snow. A winter mountain wedding that was completely, entirely them.
The Fog, the Dunes, and the Bonfire: A Pelican Brewing Wedding in Pacific City, Oregon
Kristin and Eron got married barefoot on the beach in Pacific City as the morning fog rolled in off the Pacific, surrounded by their four sons, their flower-crowned dog, and the people who matter most. After exploring the dunes and sea caves for portraits, they celebrated with a surf and turf dinner at Pelican Brewing, lawn games on the patio, dancing, and a bonfire on the beach to end the night. It was the kind of wedding that feels less like an event and more like a really perfect day.
Vow Exchange in Seattle | Seattle Chinese Garden, Staple & Fancy, and Karaoke
A bridal jumpsuit, a secret vow exchange under a Chinese pavilion, dinner at one of Seattle's best restaurants, and late night karaoke that nobody wanted to end. Rachel and Andrew surprised their closest friends with a wedding weekend before their family ceremony at Salish Lodge — and it was one of the most joyful, perfectly curated evenings I've ever had the privilege of documenting.
Walking to the Courthouse | An Intimate Wedding in Downtown Portland
Getting ready at The Porter with the Portland skyline pouring through the windows, walking together through downtown to the Multnomah County Courthouse for an intimate ceremony with the people who mattered most, and ending the night with tacos at a beloved Portland restaurant that has since closed its doors. Erin and LeFoster's wedding day was simple, intentional, and completely perfect.
An Intimate Wedding at Salish Lodge & Spa | Snoqualmie Falls, Washington
A small circle of loved ones, a lace dress with pockets, and the roar of Snoqualmie Falls as the ceremony soundtrack. Rachel and Andrew's intimate wedding at the Hidden Terrace at Salish Lodge & Spa was quiet, beautiful, and completely everything it needed to be. Mount Rainier Elopement with Family and Friends | Intimate National Park Wedding in Washington
Dan and Karli gathered their closest family and friends and hiked up to a viewpoint at Mount Rainier National Park, said something simple and sweet and completely meant it, then walked back down and shared sandwiches, cake, and cold Rainier beers together.
A Quiet, Intimate Elopement at the Foxtrot in Portland, Oregon
The Foxtrot on SE Belmont is a 130 year old Victorian with cozy gothic vibes, an exceptional cocktail program, and a reportedly haunted kitchen. It is also where Ashley and Andy got married, in front of a pink velvet couch, surrounded by their closest friends. Honestly the most on brand elopement I have ever photographed.
A Rainy January Elopement at Olympic National Park
Olympic National Park in January is not for everyone. Devyin and Val are exactly the kind of people it is for. Rain, snow, a waterfall, and vows so soaked through they were barely legible. One of my favorite days.
Hoyt Arboretum Forest Elopement in Portland, Oregon
Sara has been one of my closest friends for over ten years. When she asked me to photograph her December elopement at Hoyt Arboretum in Portland, I said yes before she finished the sentence. Six of her favorite people, a redwood deck in the trees, dinner at Le Pigeon, and a bottle of wine they bought on their first date. This one was special.
