Hi, come in. This is where I share the full stories behind the sessions, and if you read enough of them, you'll start to notice something: a lot of the same names keep showing up. Engagements turn into weddings turn into maternity sessions turn into family photos with three kids and a dog. After fifteen years of this work, my favorite thing is that I rarely get to say goodbye to anyone. I just get to see them again in a new chapter. These are those chapters.

Golden Hour and the Foxes | Grant's Senior Session | Silverton, Oregon
Silverton, Oregon has a particular kind of beauty in the fall. The light comes in warm and low, the countryside opens up into something quiet and cinematic, and it turns out to be a pretty perfect place to photograph a high school football player wrapping up his senior year.
Cozy in Treasure Valley — Kimmy, Keaton, Poppy & Milo's In-Home Session in Nampa, Idaho
Some sessions you walk into and immediately feel it — that lived-in, loved-in warmth that no studio could ever replicate. Kimmy and Keaton's home in Nampa was exactly that. Two kids, a gallery wall full of memories already made, and a baby named Milo with the kind of smile that makes everyone in the room completely lose it.
The Beginning of Everything — Andrea & Deion's Wedding at Red Barn Villa
Some couples you photograph once and carry with you forever. Andrea and Deion are those people for me. Their wedding at Red Barn Villa in 2020 was one of the most joyful, full-of-life days I've ever had the privilege of being part of, and it turned out to be just the beginning.
Vows, Voodoo, and the Grant House: Michael & Stephanie's Wedding at Fort Vancouver
A historic gazebo. A wraparound porch and shot glasses raised at golden hour. A box of Voodoo Doughnuts instead of a wedding cake. Michael and Stephanie did their wedding day entirely on their own terms, and it was perfect.
Intimate Happy Valley Backyard Wedding | Sandra & Stanley's Covid Zoom Ceremony
Sandra and Stanley got married via Zoom from their Happy Valley, Oregon living room during covid, then stepped out for intimate neighborhood portraits beneath blooming dogwoods. A quiet, suburban wedding that proved smaller is never lesser.
Portland Portrait Session with Kate and Her Dog Edward
A laid-back portrait session with Kate and her dog Edward, walking around their Portland neighborhood on a cold, cloudy afternoon. Moody light, soft colors, and the kind of easy connection you can only have with your dog.
The Table Flip Heard Round the Vineyard: Dan & Ashley's Wedding at La Belle Promenade and Carlton Grain Elevator, Oregon
I have photographed a lot of weddings. I have never photographed a bride flip a table. Until Ashley. And honestly, it might be the most romantic thing I have ever witnessed.
She Said Yes at Haystack Rock: A Surprise Proposal in Pacific City, Oregon
My favorite part of a surprise proposal shoot is the waiting. You find your spot, you stay very still, and you watch two people's lives change from a distance. This one, with Haystack Rock rising out of the waves behind them and a chocolate lab trotting circles around their feet, was one for the books.
Portland Winter Wedding at St. Michael's Lutheran Church | Abby + Darryl
Abby and Darryl said "I do" surrounded by Christmas trees, a packed church, and people who had been cheering for them their whole lives. For me, photographing this wedding wasn't just work, it was coming home.
Dasha and Cameron: An Apple Orchard Family Session in Idaho
A late summer evening in an apple orchard outside Emmett, Idaho with Dasha, Cameron, their daughter, and their two black labs. Rows of ripe apples, golden grass, and the kind of soft light that makes everything feel like a memory in the making.
Nobody Puts Damien in a Corner | Shelby + Damien's Engagement at Marchesi Vineyards
I met Shelby at her sister Steffanie's wedding years ago, and somewhere between that day and this one we became chosen family. When it was time to photograph Shelby's own engagement session, there was nowhere else I wanted to be. We went to the vineyards, we went to the waterfront, and then we recreated the Dirty Dancing lift. Gender swapped. And yes, it worked.
Cameron and Brianna's Backyard Couples Session in Portland, Oregon
Cameron and Brianna invited me into their Portland backyard for a quiet, golden afternoon: pizza on the table, flannel and marigold sweaters, and the kind of easy laughter that only comes from loving each other well.
Tucked Into the Green — Samantha's Family Session on Private Property in Portland, Oregon
Portland does something to family photos that nowhere else can quite replicate. That deep, lush green everywhere, the soft overcast light, the feeling of being tucked away from the rest of the world. Samantha and her family gave me all of that. Plus a toddler with a smile so big it basically lit up the whole forest.
In-Home Mother and Daughter Session in Nampa, Idaho | Kimberly and Penelope
A sunny afternoon in Nampa with Kimberly and her one-year-old daughter Penelope. No styling, no fuss, just the two of them on the living room floor doing what they do every day.
The McNeil Family at Cathedral Park in Portland
A first session with the McNeil family at Cathedral Park under the St. Johns Bridge in Portland. Three blonde little boys, a red Radio Flyer wagon, and a family I knew right away I hoped I'd get to photograph again
Jackie and Ashley: A Cozy Boise Couples Session
A soft, moody, in-home couples session with Jackie and Ashley at their apartment in Boise. Low light, blue curtains, quiet laughter, and the kind of easy love that makes my job feel more like visiting friends than working.
Silk, Protea, and a Dog in a Floral Crown: Valley Ford Hotel Wedding
Lara is a designer, and it showed in every single corner of this wedding. From the blush silk gown to the moody protea arrangements to a dog in a eucalyptus crown delivering the rings, this day at the Valley Ford Hotel was intentional, beautiful, and completely them.
